The Galaxy Watch6 keeps Samsung's familiar circular design while quietly fixing the previous generation's biggest complaint: screen brightness. The 1.31-inch AMOLED panel on the 40mm model is noticeably easier to read in direct sunlight than the Watch5.
Health tracking runs deep here — heart rate, SpO2, ECG, blood pressure, and bioelectrical impedance analysis (body composition) are all onboard, backed by the Exynos W930 chipset running Wear OS 4 with Samsung's One UI Watch 5 layer.
Battery life is the one area where the Watch6 shows its limits — the 300 mAh cell in the 40mm model typically needs a nightly charge with the always-on display active, which is standard for this class of smartwatch but worth planning around.
