The Galaxy S24 is the rare 2024 flagship that didn't grow — Samsung kept the 6.2-inch body from the S23 while upgrading nearly everything inside it. The 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display now hits higher peak brightness, and the titanium-adjacent aluminum frame feels notably sturdier in hand.
Depending on region, the S24 ships with either Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Samsung's own Exynos 2400 — both are a clear step up over the S23's silicon, with the Snapdragon variant generally posting the better sustained-performance numbers under load.
Samsung also folded several of its Galaxy AI features (live translation, circle-to-search) into the S24 at launch rather than reserving them for the Ultra, making the base model a genuinely capable everyday flagship rather than a stripped-down one.
