The OPPO Find X9 Pro is OPPO's camera-first flagship for the 2025 to 2026 cycle. It combines MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chipset with a 7,500 mAh battery, a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a three-camera system in which a 200MP periscope telephoto takes centre stage, all carrying the Hasselblad name. Unlike many rivals, the Pro comes in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This page is based on the published specifications and manufacturer information, and it explains where the phone fits, what it offers and what you give up.

Place in the lineup

OPPO introduced the Find X9 series at a global launch event in Barcelona on 28 October 2025, alongside the standard Find X9, and ColorOS 16 debuted on the same date. The Pro is the top model, and OPPO lists it in two colours: Titanium Charcoal and Silk White. Pricing is regional and OPPO's own spec page does not give one. Media coverage at the time reported roughly 1,299 euros for the European version and 1,099 pounds in the United Kingdom, and indicated that the phone would not be sold in the United States, so treat those numbers as reports rather than official statements.

Because it is not sold everywhere, the most relevant rivals depend on where you live. Photography-focused buyers will think of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Pixel 10 Pro, and you can see the first pairing in the OPPO Find X9 Pro vs Galaxy S25 Ultra comparison. Within the Android flagship group, the OnePlus 15 is a comparable big-battery flagship, though it uses a Qualcomm chip and OxygenOS instead of MediaTek and ColorOS.

Design and display

The Find X9 Pro measures about 161.26 x 76.46 x 8.25 mm and weighs about 224 g, which is hefty but reasonable for a phone that carries such a large battery. The back is dominated by a squared camera island that houses the three lenses, a flash and a round Hasselblad emblem. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 according to the specification page.

The screen is a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED panel with 2772 x 1272 resolution, about 450 pixels per inch. The maximum refresh rate is 120Hz, the colour depth is 10-bit and the panel covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 gamut. OPPO lists a typical brightness of 800 nits and a high-brightness-mode figure of 1,800 nits; the second number applies in high-brightness mode rather than to everyday use. The resolution is described as FHD+, so it sits below the QHD+ screens of some rivals, but the pixel density is high enough that most users will not notice in daily use.

Performance and software

The chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, an eight-core design. Memory is 16GB of LPDDR5X and storage is 512GB of UFS 4.1, with no microSD slot. Having a single, high-end configuration simplifies the buying decision, although it also means there is no cheaper entry version with less storage. OPPO's spec sheet does not give benchmark numbers, and we do not quote any here.

The software is ColorOS 16, OPPO's own Android-based interface. The phone supports fast wired charging with both OPPO's SUPERVOOC protocol and the UFCS standard, which is a useful sign of compatibility with third-party chargers in markets that adopt it. ColorOS adds many OPPO-specific features on top of Android, so the experience depends on how much you value those extras.

Camera

The camera system is the reason to look at this phone. The main camera is a 50MP sensor behind an f/1.5 lens with optical image stabilisation. The ultra-wide camera is also 50MP, with an f/2.0 lens and a 120-degree field of view. The telephoto is the headline: a 200MP sensor behind an f/2.1 lens with optical stabilisation, listed for up to 3x optical zoom, with digital zoom reaching 18x according to the specification page. A 2MP monochrome sensor is also listed. A 200MP telephoto gives the system room to crop in without leaving the optical path, and a wide f/2.1 aperture is helpful in dim light, though how well it performs depends on processing, which cannot be judged from numbers alone.

On video, the rear cameras record 4K at up to 120 frames per second. The front camera is a 50MP unit with an f/2.0 lens and a 90-degree field of view, which is a high resolution for a selfie camera and should suit group shots. The Hasselblad name on the camera island signals a colour-tuning partnership, and the taste of that tuning is subjective; without independent tests, we do not rate the cameras here.

Battery and charging

Battery capacity is 7,500 mAh typical, with a rated capacity of 7,290 mAh. That is among the largest in the premium class and notably more than the 5,000 mAh common a couple of years ago. Wired charging goes up to 80W, using SUPERVOOC or UFCS, and wireless charging goes up to 50W with OPPO's AIRVOOC technology. OPPO does not state a full-charge time on the specification page, so it is better not to assume one. As always, real-world endurance depends on screen brightness, network and usage.

Reading the numbers

Several figures on the specification sheet deserve a careful reading. The 7,500 mAh battery value is a typical capacity, while the rated value of 7,290 mAh is the more conservative figure; both come from the same cells and the difference is normal across the industry. The 3x optical label for the telephoto describes the main working range of the lens, and the 18x figure covers digital zoom, so images at that level combine optics with software. The brightness numbers likewise describe different modes. None of this is a flaw, but it is a reminder to compare phones on like-for-like terms rather than on the largest headline number. Buyers who plan to use the phone mainly for video should note the 4K at 120 frames per second recording listed for the rear cameras.

Who it is for

The Find X9 Pro is aimed at people who care most about photography, in particular long-lens shots, and who want big-battery endurance without a bulky handset. It also suits buyers who prefer a single well-equipped configuration. If a foldable is what you need, look at the OPPO Find N5, and for overall placement see the rankings.

Compromises

Taken together, the Find X9 Pro is a specialist flagship that trades some mainstream availability and screen sharpness for a long telephoto and a very large battery.
