The OPPO Reno15 Pro is a compact upper-mid-range phone built around cameras and endurance. Its 6.32-inch screen is small by current standards, and OPPO packs a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto, a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera into a body that weighs 187 g, along with a 6,200 mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging. This page is based on the published specifications and manufacturer information on OPPO's global site, and it marks OPPO's own statements as claims.
Place in the lineup
OPPO's Reno15 series on its global site consists of several models: the Reno15 Pro Max, this Reno15 Pro, the Reno15 and the Reno15 F. The Pro is one of the two top models and, with its 6.32-inch screen, the one for people who do not want a very large phone. It sits well below OPPO's Find line, such as the OPPO Find X9 Pro flagship and the foldable OPPO Find N5, but it borrows some of the same ideas: a telephoto camera with stabilisation, a durable aluminium frame and a short list of in-house AI tools. Regional naming differs between markets, so check the model code on the box: OPPO's specification page for this phone lists CPH2813. The manufacturer pages we reviewed do not state a price or US availability, so this page carries no price. Two memory configurations are listed, both with 12GB: 256GB or 512GB of storage.
Design and durability
The phone measures 151.21 x 72.42 mm and is 7.99 mm thick in Dusk Brown and 8.13 mm in Aurora Blue, with a weight of 187 g and 188 g respectively. OPPO describes a one-piece sculpted glass back, ultra-thin screen bezels and an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. The Aurora Blue version uses a textured finish that OPPO calls Dancing Aurora, created with millions of precision-etched "OPPO Glow" textures, and the camera module is framed by a square ring that OPPO calls the Stellar Ring. The front glass is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Protection is listed as IP69, IP68 and IP66, tested under controlled laboratory conditions to Chinese and international standards. That means the phone is built to resist both immersion and high-pressure hot-water jets, and OPPO even advertises underwater photography with the phone. As with every rating, OPPO notes that the figures come from controlled laboratory conditions, and protection can degrade as the phone ages. A protective case is included in the box, along with a charger and a USB cable.
Display
The panel is a 6.32-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels, around 460 pixels per inch, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. OPPO quotes 600 nits typical brightness and 1,800 nits in high-brightness mode, 10-bit colour with 1.07 billion colours, 100 percent DCI-P3 in its standard, natural and vivid modes, HDR10+ certification and a 93.35 percent screen-to-body ratio. The touch sampling rate is up to 240Hz. Splash Touch and Glove Touch are meant to keep the screen usable with wet hands or gloves. The screen size is measured as a full rectangle, so the visible diagonal is slightly smaller because of the rounded corners and punch-hole camera. For people who find 6.7-inch and larger phones tiresome, this size is a genuine selling point.
Performance and software
The processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, a 4nm chip with eight cores and an Arm G720 MC7 graphics unit running at up to 1,300MHz. OPPO says it uses an all-big-core design and quotes gains of 41 percent in peak CPU performance, 24 percent in GPU and 54 percent in NPU versus the previous generation, data it attributes to MediaTek. The memory is 12GB of LPDDR5X and the storage is UFS 3.1, a combination that is faster than the LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 pairing in cheaper phones such as the Redmi Note 15 Pro+. There is no memory-card slot, but USB OTG is supported. OPPO also claims 120 frames per second for three hours in a MOBA game and in a shooter under its pro gamer mode, and it adds network features such as an AI Super Wi-Fi Booster driven by a custom X1 chip.
The phone ships with ColorOS 16. OPPO says the system keeps its smooth feel after six years of use, a figure from its own laboratory that is not an update commitment; the page we reviewed does not state how many years of Android or security updates the phone will receive. ColorOS 16 includes AI Mind Space for saving and organising what you capture, AI Translate and AI Call Translator, a protective OPPO Lock feature and O+ Connect for sharing with iPhone and Mac, some of which depend on region and downloads from the app market.
Camera
The rear camera has three lenses. The main one is a 200MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 84-degree field of view, autofocus and two-axis optical stabilisation. The telephoto is 50MP with f/2.8, a 30-degree field of view, autofocus and two-axis stabilisation, and the video specifications mention up to 3.5x optical zoom and 18x digital zoom. The ultrawide is 50MP with f/2.0, a 116-degree field of view and autofocus. Having a true telephoto lens sets the Reno15 Pro apart from phones in this price range that rely on cropping, such as the Redmi Note 15 Pro.
The front camera is also 50MP, with f/2.0, autofocus and a wide 100-degree field of view for group selfies. Rear video goes up to 4K at 60 frames per second, including with EIS and OIS combined, 4K HDR, 1080p slow motion at 480 frames per second, 4K underwater video at 30 frames per second and dual-view recording; the front camera also films 4K at 60 frames per second. OPPO adds software such as AI Portrait Glow, the Reno Portrait Engine, Popout and an AI eraser for motion photos, some of which need the AI Studio app from the app market. Image quality can only be judged from real photos, so look for independent samples.
Battery and charging
The battery has a typical capacity of 6,200 mAh (rated at 6,035 mAh), which is large for a phone that weighs under 190 g. Charging supports up to 80W SUPERVOOC, and OPPO's laboratory tests quote 2.36 days of use, 53 minutes for a charge from 1 to 100 percent, 4.3 hours of video streaming from a ten-minute charge and 11.22 hours of MOBA gaming. The company also lists compatibility with 67W and lower SUPERVOOC chargers, 55W PPS and 13.5W PD. Wireless charging is not listed on the specification page. The charger is included in the box, which is not guaranteed in every market, as OPPO notes that the contents may vary.
Who it is for
The Reno15 Pro is for buyers who want a compact phone with a versatile camera system, including a real telephoto lens and a high-resolution selfie camera, and who still want a battery that lasts more than a day. It suits travellers, social-media creators and people who shoot a lot of portraits. Its IP69 protection, aluminium frame and fast charging also make it a practical everyday device.
Compromises
The compact screen is a trade-off in itself, and there is no memory-card slot, so you must pick the storage size you need at the start. Wireless charging is not listed, the touch sampling rate is only 240Hz, and the page does not state how many software updates the phone will receive. All battery, gaming and camera numbers come from OPPO's own labs, and no price or US availability is stated on the pages we reviewed.
