The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro is the premium version of Huawei's seventh-generation GT watch. It keeps the long battery life and multi-sport software of the standard Huawei Watch GT 7 and adds a titanium alloy frame with a nano-tech ceramic bezel, sapphire glass, an ECG sensor, a depth sensor and a freediving rating down to 40 metres. It comes in one size, 45.6 mm, in yellow, green or black. This page is a specification-and-information review based on the published specifications and manufacturer information, covering where the Pro sits in the range, its materials, sports, health sensors, battery claims and trade-offs.

Place in the lineup

The GT 7 family arrived in early September 2026 with two versions. The standard model uses stainless steel and comes in 46 mm and 41 mm sizes; the Pro is the single larger, more rugged and more health-focused model. Huawei describes the Pro as built for the wild: the pitch centres on materials, outdoor sports and the extra sensors. Huawei's global product pages listed no price for either watch, so none is given here, and there is no stated United States price. Availability, colours and included straps differ between markets.

Design, materials and display

The Pro measures 45.6 x 45.6 x 11.25 mm and weighs about 55.5 grams without the strap, with a recommended wrist size of 140 to 210 mm. It is a little thicker and heavier than the 46 mm standard model, which is 10.95 mm thick and about 51.3 grams. The frame is a titanium alloy that Huawei calls aerospace-grade, and the bezel is raised nano-tech ceramic, which Huawei says is meant to take impacts. A rotating crown and a side button handle controls.

The display is a 1.47-inch AMOLED panel with 466 x 466 pixels at 317 pixels per inch, protected by sapphire glass, which the standard GT 7's specification page does not mention. Peak brightness is stated as 3,000 nits, a figure Huawei obtained in its labs at 30 percent average picture level, so it applies to small bright areas rather than a full screen. The watch ships with EasyCross fluoroelastomer straps, whose end tucks under rather than sticking out, in yellow, green or black. It carries 5 ATM, IP69 and an EN 13319 rating, and Huawei states it supports freediving to 40 metres. Hot showers, saunas, scuba diving and technical diving are all listed as things to avoid.

Sports, navigation and freediving

The sports package builds on the standard GT 7 and adds the activities that suit the Pro's materials. Skiing and snowboarding are new: indoor and outdoor modes record turns, turn frequency, G-force (Huawei's measure of the load felt in a turn), speed, descent and run counts, and lift time is separated automatically. Huawei says its ski resort maps cover more than 3,000 resorts in 59 countries, with slope names, grades and lift stations, and that its Sunflower Positioning System plus AI-XDR algorithm gives 20 percent better route precision for high-speed snow sports than the GT 6 series, according to its own lab data.

Cycling gets climb planning, terrain alerts with distance, elevation gain and grade, sharp-turn warnings, climb analytics, AI-powered workout analysis and smart-trainer connection through FTMS. Some of these functions arrive through updates and are limited to certain regions or trainers. Golf is a feature highlighted for the Pro: plays-like slope-adjusted distance, a customisable flagstick position, a green view that rotates with the player, a database of more than 17,000 courses, an on-screen bezel scorecard and shot replays in the Health app. Running adds offline maps and running power, trail running shows altitude information, and freediving offers apnea tests with a hover timer and water-type identification, down to a depth of 40 metres. The watch has more than 110 workout modes and uses dual-band GPS (L1 and L5) with GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC.

Health sensors and features

The Pro adds an ECG sensor, and Huawei says the watch prompts an ECG reading 30 minutes after exercise, which the wearer takes by holding the side electrode for 30 seconds. Alongside this comes pulse-wave arrhythmia analysis from the optical sensor, a depth sensor, temperature, barometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and ambient-light sensors. Huawei also lists a Coronary Heart Disease Study, in which the watch is worn day and night for three to four days to produce a personal cardiovascular risk assessment, and a Diabetes Risk Study using three to 14 days of vital-sign tracking. Both depend on market, on the Huawei apps and on the user meeting the study's conditions, and Huawei states that the watch is not a medical device and that results are for reference only.

Other health features are the daily Physical Readiness Score (generated after three days and nights of continuous wear), HRV monitoring, the TruSleep 5.0 sleep algorithm, an emotional-wellbeing app with 12 emotions, a health community for sharing data with relatives, women's health predictions and guided mini-workouts. Everyday features include Bluetooth calling through the paired phone, voice notes, temperature and UV readouts and NFC. The watch works with Android 9.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later through the Huawei Health app, and a three-month Huawei Health+ trial comes with purchase.

Battery and charging

Huawei claims up to 21 days in light use, up to 12 days in typical use, up to 7 days with the always-on display and up to 51 hours in trail-running mode. These are the same numbers as the 46 mm GT 7, even though the Pro has a heavier case and extra sensors. Huawei attributes the endurance to a high-silicon stacked battery, and it states that wireless charging takes about 95 minutes for a full charge. All of these are Huawei laboratory results under defined settings. Light use assumes 90 minutes of exercise a week and 200 screen activations a day, so frequent GPS workouts, always-on display and heavy use of calls will shorten the time between charges.

Who it is for

The GT 7 Pro is aimed at people who want a rugged multi-sport watch with long battery life and who will use its extra features: skiers and snowboarders, golfers, trail runners, cyclists and freedivers. The sapphire glass and titanium frame matter most to people who are hard on their gear. If you only run, cycle and track health, the cheaper standard model is likely enough. Compromises

Overall, the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro is the GT 7 platform in its most durable and sensor-rich form, with a titanium frame, ceramic bezel, sapphire glass, ECG, depth sensing and a strong sports set, all with a claimed three-week battery. Its trade-offs are one large size and a narrower app ecosystem. The rankings page shows where it stands against other watches.
