The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is the Lite member of Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10 family, built around everyday use: watching, studying, sketching and multitasking. Samsung unveiled it in August 2025 and made it available from 5 September 2025, with UK prices from 329 pounds. This page is based on Samsung's UK press release and its specification table. Quotes and performance statements are Samsung's; where something is not in the source, we say so instead of guessing.
Screen and everyday viewing
The tablet has a 10.9-inch display at 2112 by 1320 pixels, described as WUXGA+ and listed as a TFT panel, so it is not an OLED like the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Samsung highlights Vision Booster and a peak brightness up to 600 nits to keep the picture readable when moving from indoors to outdoors. The display has received a Low Blue Light certification from SGS, which Samsung cites as reducing some of the blue light emitted by the screen for longer viewing comfort. Two speakers of 1.6 watts each handle sound, and Samsung's release does not name a refresh rate, so this page lists none.
The body measures 165.8 by 254.3 by 6.6 millimetres and weighs 524 grams for both Wi-Fi and 5G models. It comes in Grey, Silver and Coralred, though the footnote says that colour and model availability may vary by country, region or carrier.
Performance and battery
Samsung describes an upgraded processor and increased memory capacity, and the specification table names the Exynos 1380. Memory and storage are 6 GB with 128 GB or 8 GB with 256 GB, and all models take microSD cards up to 2 TB, sold separately. The tablet runs Android 15. Connectivity includes 5G on the 5G models, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, and the cameras are an 8MP rear and a 5MP front camera.
The battery is 8,000 mAh, a typical value tested under third-party lab conditions according to IEC 62133, and Samsung mentions Super-Fast Charging. The footnote is important: the charger is sold separately, charging speed depends on the battery level and other factors, and Samsung recommends its original data cable. The release gives no battery life hours, so we cannot say how long a charge lasts.
The S Pen and note-taking tools
An S Pen is in the box, which Samsung says responds instantly for jotting ideas during a call or sketching a layout on the commute. On Samsung Notes, Handwriting Help organises handwritten notes and Solve Math solves equations; both run on the device without an internet connection but require a Samsung account, and Samsung notes that incorrect handwriting recognition can lead to wrong calculations and that accuracy is not guaranteed. Users can annotate imported PDFs and export finished files, and Split View allows following lecture slides while taking notes or keeping a reference image next to a drawing. Handwriting Help supports a long list of languages including English, French and German, according to the footnote.
AI helpers and apps
Circle to Search with Google lets users search or translate from anywhere on the screen, and the Galaxy AI Key on the optional Book Cover Keyboard gives quick access to AI help to brainstorm or get help mid-task; the keyboard is sold separately. Samsung lists Goodnotes, Clip Studio Paint, LumaFusion and Notion as preloaded or offered favourites, and adds Noteshelf 3, ArcSite, Sketchbook and Picsart. The promotional terms are detailed: a one-year free full version of Goodnotes, a six-month free trial of Clip Studio Paint with 20 percent off the first subscription, 66 percent off LumaFusion with a one-month Creator Pass, and a one-month free trial of Notion Plus with Notion AI. The footnotes say some of these require separate downloads or purchases after the trial and vary by country.
What the tablet does not have
Compared with Samsung's Ultra and Plus models, the Lite uses a TFT panel and cameras of 8MP and 5MP, and the release does not list IP water resistance, a fingerprint sensor or quad speakers. It also does not say how many years of software updates it gets or what refresh rate the screen supports. If any of those matter, check them before buying.
Reading the footnotes
The specification table is followed by notes that change how some numbers should be read. The 10.9-inch size is measured diagonally as a full rectangle without accounting for rounded corners and the camera hole, so the visible area is somewhat smaller. Storage availability differs by market, model, colour or carrier, and the usable space is lower than the nominal figure because of pre-installed software. The microSD slot supports cards up to 2 TB on all models, but the card is not included and external memory is for media such as photos, video and music. The Low Blue Light certification is granted by SGS and Samsung refers readers to that body for details. None of these notes change the basic picture, but they explain why two identical-looking tablets can differ slightly between countries.
Samsung also describes the ecosystem around the tablet. Seamless connected experiences are meant to keep ideas, content and tasks flowing across Galaxy devices, and the examples in the release are all study or leisure scenarios: catching up on shows, late-night sessions at the library, jumping between classes and playlists. That framing tells you who the tablet is aimed at more clearly than the spec sheet does.
Prices and offers
UK recommended prices were 329 pounds for the Wi-Fi model with 128 GB, 389 pounds for Wi-Fi with 256 GB, 379 pounds for 5G with 128 GB and 439 pounds for 5G with 256 GB. Samsung offered a free Book Cover worth 79 pounds and Galaxy Buds FE worth 99 pounds to buyers on samsung.com until 30 September 2025, and a guaranteed 50 pounds off when trading in any tablet or Android phone in any condition, though charges apply if the trade-in device is not sent back.
Changtae Kim, who leads new computing research and development in Samsung's mobile business, framed the product as a reliable companion that helps users get more out of every moment, for people who jump between classes and playlists, stay productive during the day or turn downtime into creative time.
