The Apple Watch Series 10 is the thinnest Apple Watch ever made, and it shows in how it sits on the wrist — noticeably flatter than the Series 9 despite packing a larger OLED display with up to 30% more screen area.
The new Apple S10 chip borrows performance cores from the A16 Bionic, and Apple added a water depth and temperature sensor aimed at swimmers and water-sports users — a first for the standard Watch line, previously exclusive to the rugged Ultra model.
An FDA-cleared sleep apnea detection feature, introduced the same year, runs passively overnight and represents one of the more medically significant additions to the Apple Watch platform since ECG support.
