The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is Mobvoi's endurance-oriented Wear OS smartwatch from 2024: a rugged case, a sapphire crystal cover, a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip and a battery that the company says can last up to 90 hours in its Smart Mode. This page is based on the specifications published on Mobvoi's own product page and on the company's statements, which are presented as claims. The page gives neither a price nor a release date, so we do not state either with certainty.

Where it fits in the lineup

Mobvoi's TicWatch Pro line is the brand's flagship family for outdoor and fitness use, and the "Enduro" suffix marks the version tuned for long battery life and tougher conditions. It competes with other Wear OS watches such as the Google Pixel Watch 3 and rugged models like the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, and with sports-first watches from Garmin such as the Garmin Fenix 8, which run their own software instead of Wear OS. For a direct specification comparison with a mainstream Wear OS rival, see TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro vs Pixel Watch 3, and the rankings show how it scores across the category.

Design, build and display

The case is a mix of materials: stainless steel, 7000-series aluminium and a high-strength nylon with fibreglass. The watch measures 50.15 x 48.0 x 11.95 mm and weighs 44.7 grams without the strap, which is light for a large rugged watch. The strap is a 24 mm fluororubber band and can be swapped. A rotating, domed crown with haptic feedback sits on the side, with a customisable button, and the bezel has a reinforced arrow-line pattern. Two colours are listed: Obsidian and Slate.

The display is where the "dual-layer" idea shows. The main screen is a 1.43-inch, 466 x 466 pixel always-on OLED at 326 pixels per inch, and it is protected by sapphire crystal, which Mobvoi describes as tough and scratch-resistant. On top of that sits an ultra-low-power display, which keeps basic information on the dial in a power-saving mode, with 18 selectable backlight colours. Mobvoi says more than 10,000 watch faces are available through its TimeShow app, plus others from Google Play.

Performance and software

The chipset is the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1, a wearable platform that pairs a 4nm main processor with a 22nm co-processor to handle low-power tasks. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The operating system is Wear OS by Google, and the product page lists Wear OS 3.5. That matters for three reasons: apps from Google Play, Google Maps, Google Wallet and YouTube Music are available, the watch works with Android phones running Android 8.0 or later (the page excludes Go-edition phones and phones without the Play Store), and it uses Mobvoi's own Health companion app alongside Google's services. The page does not mention iPhone support, so buyers with an iPhone should not assume compatibility.

Connectivity consists of Bluetooth 5.2, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and NFC for Google Wallet payments. For location, the watch uses GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, HD optical heart-rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, skin-temperature sensor, an off-body sensor, a barometer and a compass.

Health and fitness features

Mobvoi lists continuous heart-rate monitoring with zone reports and alerts for irregular rhythm, including a notice for atrial fibrillation, blood-oxygen monitoring, VO2 Max estimates, recovery-time guidance of up to 120 hours, and automatic sleep tracking with snore detection. A one-tap measurement checks five metrics in about 90 seconds: heart rate, blood oxygen, respiratory rate, stress and heart health. More than 110 workout modes are listed, and the low-power screen can show live data from apps such as Strava, Nike Run Club and adidas Running, plus heart-rate-zone backlights during exercise. A 12-month VIP sleep subscription in the Mobvoi Health app is included.

As with any wrist-worn health sensor, these are wellness and fitness features and not medical diagnoses; accuracy depends on fit, skin tone, movement and conditions, and Mobvoi's page gives no independent accuracy data.

Battery and charging

The battery is the main selling point. Mobvoi quotes a typical capacity of 628 mAh. In Smart Mode the company states up to 90 hours of use, and in Essential Mode, a basic-features mode, up to 45 days. Essential Mode can be scheduled or smart: the smart version only switches on when the watch has been worn to sleep or taken off the wrist for more than 30 minutes. The page notes that real battery life varies with use. Fast charging is also listed, with a 30-minute charge giving about two days of use. These are manufacturer estimates; features such as always-on display, GPS tracking, and a lot of notifications will bring the figures down.

Outdoor durability

For rough use, the watch is rated 5ATM, so it can be used for swimming, including open water, and it carries MIL-STD-810H certification, a US military test standard for environmental stress. Mobvoi's marketing shows swimming, cycling, mountain walking and climbing. The built-in barometer and compass help with altitude and direction, and the GPS functions support navigation features such as the ones advertised on the page.

Everyday use and the companion app

Day to day, the watch handles notifications, messages and phone calls on the wrist, and the side button can be set to open a favourite app. Fitness apps such as Strava, Nike Run Club and adidas Running can push live numbers to the low-power screen, so a runner can glance at pace or heart rate without the full colour display waking up. AllTrails, Spotify and Google Calendar shortcuts can be placed on watch faces, although Google Calendar has to be downloaded separately. Settings, health history, heart-rate-zone reports and trend charts live in the Mobvoi Health app on the phone, which means the experience depends partly on that app as well as on Wear OS itself. It is worth checking phone compatibility against Mobvoi's stated requirements before buying.

Who it is for

The Pro 5 Enduro suits Android users who like Wear OS apps and want more battery life than most Wear OS watches offer, particularly for multi-day hikes or long training weeks. It also suits people who want a large, hard-wearing watch with a sapphire cover and who do not need a thin profile. People who do not want a bulky watch, who want the most polished health-tracking ecosystem, or who own an iPhone will want to look elsewhere.

Compromises

The trade-offs are clear. The case is thick and large. The Wear OS version listed on the page is 3.5, which may be older than what newer competitors ship, and we cannot say what updates will follow. The 90-hour and 45-day figures depend on modes that turn off or limit features. The page does not state a price, a release date or iPhone support, and the health features are not independently verified here. Finally, the best battery numbers come from Essential Mode, which is a basic watch mode and not the full smartwatch experience.
